How do I get access?
When you purchase a ticket through events.com, your confirmation email includes a "Generate Your QR Code" button. Tap it and you're in — no account, no password, no signup required. If you return to the site later on the same device, you'll be recognized automatically.
What platforms can I create QR codes for?
You can generate QR codes for Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, any URL, email addresses, and vCards (digital contact cards with your name, phone, email, and company).
Are the QR codes safe?
Yes. Every link is automatically checked against Google's Safe Browsing database — the same technology that protects Chrome users — before a QR code is generated. Unsafe links are blocked and no QR code is created.
How do I save or share my QR code?

Is my data private?
Absolutely. TakeQR doesn't store any personal data on its servers. Your access lives entirely in your browser. No cookies are set, no IP addresses are logged, and no tracking profiles are built. QR codes are generated right on your device — nothing is uploaded or saved on our end.
How long does my access last?
Your access is valid for one year from your ticket purchase date. You can see your expiration date at the top of the page. After it expires, simply purchase a new event ticket to regain access.
